SMALL GROUPS
What are Small Groups?
At St. Paul's Bible Church, we believe that God has designed us to need each other in order to treasure Christ as we should. In his letter to the Corinthian Church, the apostle Paul writes, “Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.” He goes on to say, “There should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it” (I Corinthians 12:25-27). The fact is, we cannot have this kind of relational closeness with everyone in the church. Therefore, we have developed a network of Small Groups. St. Paul's Small Groups are devoted to treasuring Christ together for the purpose of living out biblical truth through vulnerable, life-transforming community.
How Do Small Groups Function?
Small Groups typically consist of 6-12 members who meet together on a regular basis on various nights of the week. Some groups meet at the church, but other groups meet in homes. Groups are led by a Small Group facilitator to stimulate discussion and real life application of God’s Word. The groups have flexibility to plan social and ministry events, making the time together much more than another church meeting.
How Can I Become Connected to a St. Paul's Small Group?
You can join a class at any time. Church members are strongly encouraged to be part of a Small Group, but groups are also open to attendees who would like to become more connected to St. Paul's. If you are interested in joining a Small Group, please contact Pastor Jason Kreider to learn more.
